The EMA explained that the weather will be hot and humid to extremely hot during the daytime hours across most regions of the republic. By contrast, temperatures will become more moderate at night and during the early morning, though humidity levels will remain high—a standard pattern for this period of the summer season.
The authority further noted that sustained high humidity is one of the most prominent features of the current weather pattern. This factor significantly amplifies the perceived temperature compared to actual recorded averages, particularly during the afternoon hours when daytime heat reaches its peak.
