Cairo Airport Company Chairman Magdy Ishaq recently praised two employees, Essam Ali Mohamed and Amr Sabry Taha, for their quick actions that saved a young child’s life at Terminal 2.

The emergency happened near Gate 7 when a child fell and hit his head. The impact caused the child to swallow his tongue and stop breathing.

Mohamed rushed over immediately to perform first aid, opening the child’s airway so he could breathe again. At the same time, Amr Sabry Taha quickly brought a first aid kit and called the airport doctor to give further medical care.

Airport leadership commended both workers for staying calm and acting professionally under pressure. Chairman Ishaq noted that their quick response shows the airport’s commitment to passenger safety and praised both men for setting a great example for the rest of the team.
