FC Samartex 1996 has announced the appointment of Nana Kweku Agyemang as the club’s new head coach ahead of the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season.
Agyemang replaces Christopher Ennin, who left the role after the just-ended 2025/26 season.
The former Vision FC coach, who led his side to an 11th-place finish, will hope to help the Samarboi-based club break into the top four after they finished fifth in the previous season.
Agyemang, touted with energectic, exuberant, and enterprising style of play, is expected to inculcate a fresh tactical approach during the offseason.
The 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season is scheduled to kick off between September 4 and 7, with Samartex aiming to make an impact under their newly recruited head coach.
