VALUTED NEWS DESK
Editorial Standards
Source attribution
VALUTED NEWS news briefs are prepared from public publisher feeds and source pages. Each story should identify its original publisher and link directly to the source report. A summary is not a substitute for the original reporting.
Accuracy and context
Names, dates, figures, locations, and quotations should be retained only when supported by the source material. High-risk or sensitive stories require additional checks and may be held back when verification is insufficient. We do not invent missing facts or claim independent reporting where none has been performed.
Images and video
Featured images should be story-specific, traceable to the publisher or an approved source, and large enough for clear display. Videos should be relevant, publicly accessible, and embedded from a supported player. A third-party related clip must be labelled as related video rather than represented as original publisher footage. Media that cannot be verified should not be added.
Corrections and updates
When a source changes or a factual error is confirmed, the article should be reviewed and corrected transparently. Readers can submit a report through the Contact page with the article URL and supporting source information.
