Premier League champions Arsenal were beaten 3-2 by German giants Borussia Dortmund in the final of the pre-season Emirates Cup on Sunday.
Ethan Nwaneri and Viktor Gyokeres were both on target for the Gunners, but their Bundesliga counterparts ran out victorious courtesy of Joane Gadou’s winner.
Mikel Arteta’s side have now lost two of their pre-season fixtures so far this summer, with a final friendly against Italian outfit Como taking place on Wednesday.
The Gunners will then face FA Cup holders Manchester City in the Community Shield at Wembley, before beginning their Premier League campaign with a game against newly-promoted Coventry City on August 21.
Ahead of Wednesday’s game, it appears that the north London outfit have set an asking price for one of their in-demand players.
As per CaughtOffside, Arsenal have set an asking price of at least £17 million for striker Gabriel Jesus.

The report suggests that the Brazilian striker has attracted interest from elsewhere, and the Gunners are willing to allow him to leave The Emirates this summer for the right price.
Italian side Napoli are said to be interested in the 29-year-old, who joined the Gunners from rivals Manchester City four years ago.
Since then he has netted 32 times in 123 games in all competitions, as well as registering 22 assists for the club.
Jesus’ time in north London has been hindered by injuries over the last couple of seasons, and the report suggests that the Premier League champions are now ready to part ways with the player.
Arsenal are only willing to enter into negotiations over a deal for Jesus if an opening offer in excess of their £17 million valuation is made, with talks between the two clubs having not yet started.
The Brazil international’s contract with Arsenal is set to run until the end of the upcoming campaign.
