Money Trap: The Karun Treasure — Netflix Release Date, Cast and Official Trailer

Netflix has announced that Money Trap: The Karun Treasure will premiere globally on October 16, 2026. The new eight-episode Turkish series brings the Money Trap story back for another adventure, reuniting Asım Noyan and his gang for a treasure hunt that moves through Istanbul’s streets and underground spaces.

What is The Karun Treasure about?

The official synopsis begins when a mysterious treasure map appears. Asım Noyan and his crew are pulled into a dangerous race, pursued by ruthless rivals and international hunters. The story combines a treasure-hunt premise with the chaotic rhythm of Istanbul, setting up a contest where the characters must navigate both the city and the people trying to reach the prize first.

Netflix describes the project as the next chapter in a franchise that has already had two film instalments. This new story is an eight-episode series, not a standalone film, and is designed to bring the familiar gang into a fresh adventure.

Yılmaz Erdoğan writes the series and returns as Asım Noyan. The announced cast also includes Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ, Ezgi Mola, Uraz Kaygılaroğlu, Rıza Kocaoğlu, Ersin Korkut, Okan Çabalar, Bensu Soral Baş, Atakan Çelik, Şükran Ovalı, Görkem Sevindik and Demet Akbağ. Şenol Sönmez directs, with BKM producing.
