Apple Original Films has released the official trailer for Being Heumann, a new drama directed by Siân Heder and inspired by disability rights activist Judy Heumann.
The film follows a young disabled woman and a coalition of activists who occupy a federal building in San Francisco in 1977, demanding action against disability discrimination. The story highlights the collective effort behind a pivotal moment in the disability rights movement.
