Initial claims are a key component of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.philadelphiafed.org\/surveys-and-data\/real-time-data-research\/ads\">ADS index<\/a>\u00a0of real economic activity, and ADS\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.philadelphiafed.org\/-\/media\/FRBP\/Assets\/Surveys-And-Data\/ads\/ADS_2007.pdf?la=en&amp;sc_lang=en&amp;hash=F77650E6BAF384B6D5A52AD5CC5D897F\">recently and currently continues to indicate &#8220;typical&#8221;, or &#8220;average&#8221;, growth<\/a>.
