Sanofi, one of Massachusetts\u2019 largest pharmaceutical employers, will lay off 229 workers, according to records the company filed with the state.<\/p>\n

The workers losing their jobs have been employed with Blueprint Medicines, a Cambridge-based biotech that Sanofi acquired in a $9.1 billion deal in July 2025.<\/p>\n

The workers\u2019 positions will be cut between Oct. 9 and late June 2027, according to the filing with the state\u2019s Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development.<\/p>\n
