Juventus have still not met the asking price established by Paris Saint-Germain for centre-forward Randal Kolo Muani, and Wednesday\u2019s reports claim that Crystal Palace\u2019s Jean-Phillipe Mateta is being lined up as Juve\u2019s \u2018Plan B\u2019.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As it was last summer, Juventus have thus far been unable to come to an agreement with PSG<\/a> over a return for Kolo Muani, who scored eight goals from 16 league appearances while on loan with the Old Lady during the second half of the 2024-25 season.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

According to Gianluca Di Marzio<\/a>, PSG are standing firm with their \u20ac50m valuation for Kolo Muani and Juventus have not yet made any further steps towards matching that asking price.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Negotiations are not yet at a complete standstill, but reports from other outlets indicate that a number of alternative options are also being considered.<\/span><\/p>\n

Parma\u2019s Mateo Pellegrino has been mentioned, as has Atletico Madrid\u2019s Alexander Sorloth, but <\/span>Calciomercato.com<\/span><\/a> claims that Mateta is Juve\u2019s current second choice.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Calciomercato reports that Mateta has currently put negotiations over a new contract with Palace on hold as he is ideally holding out for a move to a \u2018top\u2019 club in Europe.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Juventus had previously made an offer to sign Mateta on loan<\/a> with a \u20ac33m option to buy during the January transfer window, but this did not come to fruition due to a rival bid from Milan, who later passed on the signing due to medical concerns.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
