Jennifer Lopez<\/strong><\/a> was a very proud mom as she shared a behind-the-scenes look at her twins Max<\/strong> and Emme<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s high school graduation.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey say I\u2019m lucky, I don\u2019t disagree\u2026Just this feeling,\u201d Lopez, 56, wrote on Saturday, June 27, alongside an Instagram carousel<\/a> of recent events in her life.<\/p>\n

The photos include the twins celebrating being part of the class of 2026, as well as other personal milestones, like commemorating the release of her new comedy Office Romance<\/em> on Netflix with a box of cupcakes and chowing down on what might be the world\u2019s largest croissant.<\/p>\n

Lopez has often reflected on the prospect of becoming an empty nester over the past few months, now that the twins will be off to two different colleges in the fall.<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, Lopez told Extra that both Max and Emme had overcome adversity<\/a> on their way to graduating high school. (Lopez shares the twins with ex-husband Marc Anthony<\/strong>, whom she was married to from 2004 to 2014.)<\/p>\n

The \u201cOn the Floor\u201d singer noted that the twins\u2019 academic accomplishments have been particularly inspiring because they have ADHD, which means they \u201clearn differently and there were struggles at times.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m so proud that they set goals for themselves. They all got into all five colleges that they applied to. Each one got a scholarship to a school,\u201d Lopez said. \u201cAnd I just felt like they worked so hard. I watched how hard they worked \u2014 from the time that they were like, you know, when school gets serious in the fifth grade \u2014 they just worked hard, worked hard.\u201d<\/p>\n

She went on, \u201cI\u2019m just so proud of them because they did what they said they were going to do. They are good people. They are loving, good hearted people. And they always said that. I would say to them, \u2018What do I say?\u2019 They say, \u2018Doesn\u2019t matter if we get good grades so long as we are good people.\u2019 I was like, \u2018That is right.\u2019 And they still sometimes will quote that back to me. So I\u2019m very, very proud of both of them.\u201d<\/p>\n

During a May appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!<\/em>, Jennifer said she\u2019d been \u201ccrying for two months\u201d<\/a> over the prospect of the twins going to college. She confirmed that, much like in high school, Max and Emme chose to go to two different universities.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s fine. I want them to be happy, go where they want to go, and do what they want to do,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

As for becoming an empty nester, Lopez acknowledged on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen<\/em> on June 8 that it had been an \u201cemotional time.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n
